Kriya Retreat in Tallow,  September 21st – 23rd, 2018

We are happy to be holding a residential Kriya Yoga Weekend to deepen our meditation, study a little of the Bhagavad Gita, whilst sharing satvic food together. We will be cooking Vegan lunch and dinners for all interested. Breakfast and Teas etc will be provided. We ask a very small donation of €12/Day for food and running of the w/e. This weekend has no initiations, only meditation practices and optional teachings from Kriya yoga masters. We will use tapes from the various Yogacharya’s and Swami’s to guide us into meditation.
We really have had such peaceful weekends and often walk in the countryside/rest in the garden between practices.
We like to stick to schedule, so please quietly enter and leave.  The front door will be open, just join in when your able to.

Join Swami Mangalananda on a 4-day retreat which will include hikes within the wondrous beauty of Killarney National Park. Killarney will provide an inspiring backdrop for deepening your Kriya practice. Our accommodations at Ethan House include a meditation space and vegetarian kitchen.
Highlights of the Killarney National Park include Ireland’s highest mountain range (1000m) which is accompanied by the world famous Lakes of Killarney. The National Park protects an ecosystem where the lower wood-clad mountain slopes fall to meet the lake shores. The park’s natural habitats are home to oak and holly woods, yew woods, red deer, white tailed eagle and much more.
Planned hikes and walks include the Gap of Dunloe, Torc Waterfall, Old Kenmare Road, and the Shoreline of Muckross Lake. The difficulty of hikes are moderate except for Gap of Dunloe which is slightly more demanding. However, an alternate boat ride through the lakes is available to the higher terrain of the Gap. Also visit Muckross Abbey which was reputed to have been first built by Saint Fionan in the 6th century.
