Friday, 27th of September 2024
14:00 - Pilgrimage walk on Glendalough Monastic Sanctuary.
Visiting Saint Saviour's Church and Saint Kevin's Cellall set in a magnificent glacial valley. We will be walking down by the river and up on the hill enjoying the waterfalls and views of lakes and trees.Leaving from the entrance doors of the Glendalough visitor centre at two o'clock.
19:30 – Introductory talk on Kriya Yoga "Actively calm, calmy active"
Tea and light refreshments available
Saturday, 28th September 2024
08:45- Preparation for initiation (See initiation section on About )
09:00 - Initiation followed by Meditation and Fire Ceremony
13:00 - Lunch together (optional)
16:00 - Explanation of Techniques
17:00 – Meditation
Evenings, early mornings and afternoon breaks can be used to enjoy the beautiful scenery with remains of the monastic settlement of Glendalough.
Sunday 29th September 2024
10:00 - Guided meditation followed by questions and answers
13:00 - Lunch together (optional)
15:00-16:00 - Questions and Answers followed by meditation
17:30 – End of Programme
Accommodation
Please arrange your own accommodation.
Alternatively there are some places to stay onsite, provided you can bring a sleeping bag. For further details on this, contact kriyaireland1@gmail.com.
Costs
The walk/lecture on Friday is open to all and free - donations gratefully appreciated as we are non-profit and volunteer run.
Those new to Kriya Yoga:
Following offerings you need for initiation on Saturday:
Five fruits - representing the fruits of all our actions (the causal body)
Five flowers - representing the five senses (the astral body)
Donation of €150 - representing the gross body (the physical body)
Warm meal gluten free vegetable meal provided on both Saturday and Sunday - €20
For those already initiated:
€40 per day (including warm gluten free vegetable meal).
Other Information
Please bring a blanket/mat, cushion and socks with you. We also recommend loose and comfortable clothing. Kindly arrive 30 minutes before initiations. And 15 minutes before each meditation class.
Remember also to switch off your mobile during the programme.
